STRATFORD — An overturned vehicle accident tied up southbound traffic on Interstate 95 for several miles on Wednesday.
The crash was reported around 3:50 p.m. near Exit 30, Surf Avenue in Stratford.
The accident backed up traffic for six miles during rush hour.
Crews were still at work around the overturned vehicle by 6 p.m.
By 8 p.m. the crash was no longer listed on the state Department of Transportation’s travel site.
