A sauna room, an outdoor theater and resort-style pools are among the luxurious features that can be found in some of this week’s most expensive home sales in metro Phoenix.

A sprawling estate in Scottsdale’s Paradise Valley Farms community near McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale changed hands in a deal between an out-of-state buyer and seller. Paradise Valley Ventures LLC, a company registered in Montana, sold the house to Ken and Jill Gimelli LLC, a California limited liability company.

The 11,080-square-foot estate includes a six-car garage, a separate guest house and a resort-style pool with a swim-up bar. The six-bedroom residence also comes with a sauna room and a finished basement.

HRM-SMM LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, paid cash for a gated estate with a smart home system in Paradise Valley’s Hidden Village 14 subdivision.

The 6,788-square-foot home has four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The mansion comes with custom vaulted barreled ceilings, a formal dining room and a private interior courtyard equipped with an outdoor theater.

The estate grounds feature a sparkling negative edge pool and a large putting green.

The property was sold by Scott W. Smith through a trust.

Shikhar and Kristin Saxena paid cash through a trust for a Santa Barbara-style mansion that sits on nearly an acre in Scottsdale’s Silverleaf at DC Ranch community. Shikhar Saxena is the co-founder and CEO of Milan Laser Hair Removal based in Omaha, Nebraska.

The two-story house comes with seven fireplaces, a wine room that holds 1,000 bottles and balconies that offer mountain views. There are five bedrooms and eight bathrooms in the 8,299-square-foot estate.

The property features two separate swimming pools, a cabana and a detached guest house.

Michael and Robin Matzek sold the home.

Patrick W. Hogan, an anesthesiologist practicing in Glendale, purchased an estate with a five-car garage in Paradise Valley’s La Jolla Acres Two subdivision. Hogan is the co-founder of AZ Pain Doctors, a medical group practice with locations throughout the Valley.

The contemporary-style mansion has 6,974 square feet of living space. The home comes with five bedrooms, a modern chef’s kitchen and a separate home office. A retractable glass wall in the great room opens to a backyard that features a spacious covered patio and a swimming pool.

Esprit De Corps Development LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, sold the home.

David and Criselda Calnon of Toluca Lake, California, purchased a modern farmhouse-style mansion in Phoenix.

The 7,570-square-foot Arcadia-area estate has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The property also features a detached guest house in the backyard.

Anthony and Jennifer Hedley sold the house through a trust. Anthony Hedley is an orthopedic surgeon practicing in Phoenix.
