People will be able to book cycles through a mobile application. The charges will be Rs 10 for the first hour and Rs 20 for another hour. Membership will be allowed in the later phase, with charges of Rs 5 for first hour and Rs 10 for another hour.
In the first phase, 10 docking stations are set up at sites drawing heavy footfall —Sukhna Lake, sectors 16, 17, 22, 35 and 43, PGI, Punjab and Haryana High Court. A total of 617 docket stations will be set up throughout the city in the final phase. The urban planning department of the UT administration has approved the locations.
