Wallet stolen from resident’s vehicle: Gates Mills Police Blotter

GATES MILLS, Ohio

Theft: Woodstock Road

A resident reported Oct. 2 that her wallet was stolen from her unlocked vehicle in her driveway sometime during the overnight hours. The following day, an officer was walking in the area and located the wallet on a neighboring street without the cash and gift cards that the resident said were inside of it.

Welfare check: Mayfield Road

Officers responded to the parking lot of St. Francis Church Sept. 28 for a report of man on an electric scooter who appeared to need help. The man, 53, said he was at church and was waiting for the rain to stop before catching an RTA bus to his home. He was given a courtesy ride to a bus shelter, at his request.
