VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI — Three people are dead as the result of a two-vehicle crash near South Haven Monday.
The crash occurred at around Noon, Monday, Oct. 12 in the intersection of Baseline Road and 60th Street, according to a news release from South Haven Area Emergency Services.
The Michigan State Police, along with sheriff’s deputies from both Allegan and Van Buren counties and first responders with SHAES responded to the incident.
Two people from one vehicle and one from the other were pronounced dead at the scene, the release states.
Baseline Road divides Van Buren and Allegan counties, while 60th Street divides Geneva Township (Van Buren) and Lee Township (Allegan), the release states.
The accident remains under investigation by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
